Colleen Wynn is a doctoral candidate in sociology at the University at Albany, SUNY. She will be an Assistant Professor of Sociology at the University of Indianapolis beginning in August 2018. Originally from Louisville, KY, she holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts degree in Sociology from Western Kentucky University.
Her dissertation is a three-fold study examining residential segregation, housing turnover, and neighborhood connection by race/ethnicity and family structure.
Her research interests include urban sociology, families and households, demography, and housing. She took comprehensive exams in Urban Sociology and Demography with a specialization in Families and Households. Her teaching interests include introductory sociology, research methods, urban sociology, family sociology, and demography.
